Based on the true life story of the greatest woman of the 19th century

Are you a parent? Do you desire greatness for your children? Have you ever heard the life story of the disabled woman who was blind and deaf? Indeed! Blind and deaf from age 2, she moved on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree cum laude at age 24in 1904.

She wrote 12 books, was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom, one of the United States' two highest civilian honors and she met with over 12 presidents of the united states from 1893 – 1963.

Her name was Helen Keller. Discover the shocking secret of the overwhelming and inspiring success of this blind deaf woman and see how you can apply it to help your own kids…

Helen Keller’s story is one of phenomenal success especially for a woman with such incredible challenges as hers. Despite her disabilities she learned to read, interpret speech through her fingers and even wrote many critically acclaimed books. Interestingly, whenever Helen Keller’s story is told there is another name that is always mentioned - Anne Sullivan
Anne Sullivan was not her mother, not her sister or aunty or school teacher. Anne Sullivan was actually Helen Keller’s personal tutor. Due to her disabilities, Helen Keller was unable to learn as a child and at age 7 she had become unruly and violent so much so that relatives suggested that she should be institutionalized (kept in a facility). Helen Keller’s tutor was perhaps the single most influential person in her life, her constant companion and after a long life of phenomenal success at her death Helen Keller was buried beside Anne Sullivan.
Helen Keller’s meeting with Annie Sullivan set her on a path to greatness. Getting a personal tutor, who can motivate, encourage and simulate your child can be one of the smartest and greatest decisions you as a parent might make. Even as an adult, a tutor can serve as a life coach/ instructor constantly encouraging you to meet your set goals. Whether you need that tutor to:
Support and Help your child out with assignments
Prepare your child for an exam
Revise course work with the child
Teach your child to master an important skill like reading, writing, learning a different language or playing a musical instrument
A one-on-one tutor helps your child learn at his /her own pace, listens to the child, monitors his progress and helps the child understand difficult topics and unlike a class teacher, a personal tutor can tailor the child’s learning according to the child’s strength and weaknesses and help your phenomenal results and achievement.

Mother charged for injecting 14-year-old daughter with heroin

34-year-old Lynn Riffey has been charged for repeatedly injecting her 14-year-old daughter and another teen with heroin, prosecutors said Monday, October 6. The Chester County district attorney's office alleged that the Philadelphia woman supplied the 14-year-old girl and a 16-year-old boy with heroin and injected them multiple times last month. She also tied a string around their arms to hide their veins.

Riffey was charged with corruption of minors, endangering the welfare of children and drug delivery.

She was jailed in lieu of $50,000 pending a preliminary hearing Friday. Prosecutors also alleged that Riffey's boyfriend supplied heroin for the teens to snort. He has been charged separately with drug dealing and other offenses.

District Attorney Thomas Hogan said the family lived in a trailer in which numerous people were using heroin. He said the mother was supposed to be caring for and protecting her daughter and instead exposed her to the drug and enabled her use of it.

"It's hard to make that leap as a parent, to think how you end up in that position," Hogan said.

A WOMAN STEAL HER FRIEND BABY

Woman steals her friend's 9 month old baby in Lagos, takes him to Anambra

Jennifer Onyebuchi was arrested on September 30th for allegedly stealing a nine-month-old baby in the Ajegunle, Lagos and taking him to Okija, Anambra State.

It was gathered that Onyebuchi, who is from Anambra state, had befriended the baby’s mother, Aina Adetola, for about two weeks before she reportedly stole the infant.

An eye witness who identified himself as Uche said:
“It was on Saturday, September 26. We were all shocked that Jennifer (Onyebuchi) escaped with the nine-month-old baby. She had met the victim’s mother for just two weeks before she carried out the act.
“They were both shop owners in the area. On that day, Jennifer took the baby from his mother when he was crying and said she was going to buy him a bottle of soft drink from a nearby shop.
“When the mother waited for them to return, but did not see them, she raised the alarm. The matter was thereafter reported at the Ajegunle Police Division. Nobody suspected that Jennifer had a devilish motive. It turned out that the woman took the baby to a bus station and travelled on the same day to Okija, Anambra State.”
According to Punch Metro, after they realised what had happened, they reported the matter to police operatives from Lagos, who went after the suspect.
It was gathered that after four days of hiding, Onyebuchi was arrested in Okija, while the baby was also rescued by the police.

Adetola, who is the baby's mother said that her husband sent her packing from their house, when he discovered that she had given their baby to a stranger.
She said,
“I could not eat for four days. I thought I was going to run mad. I wanted to kill myself, but people continued to calm me down. My husband was so angry that he sent me out of his apartment, and I had to be sleeping in my friend’s house. He said if I did not bring the baby back, I should not return to his apartment. I wept throughout that period.
“I first met Jennifer (Onyebuchi) at a filling station around Boundary bus stop in Ajegunle. She would always assist me when I wanted to buy petrol. She had a shop in the area too. On that Saturday, she had come to my shop when my baby was crying. She carried him and said she was going to buy a drink for him.
“That was my mistake. After hours of waiting for them, I rushed to Akinbo Street at the house where I knew Jennifer stayed, only to be told that she had travelled. I was shocked. That was when I went to the police to make a report.”
A police source in Ajegunle said when the Police visited Jennifer’s rented apartment, her bf said the only person he knew who was related to the suspect was a spare parts dealer who brought her from the village.
He said:
“The police located the spare parts dealer, who suggested that the woman might have travelled to her hometown in Okija, Anambra State. So, the dealer and the police went to Anambra, and they were on her trail for two days.
“On Wednesday, she was arrested. She and the baby were brought back to Lagos on the eve of Nigeria’s Independence Day.
“Some of the residents of the area wanted the police to release the suspect to them, so they would mob her, but that did not happen.”

.....................

The two girls wearing hijab, but not covering their faces, were waiting under the pedestrian bridge when they were both arrested.

The girls were initially told to get into the waiting van by the plainclothes operatives but sensing resistance, more operatives, all plainclothes, rushed to the scene and started forcing the girls to move but the girls refused to get into the vehicles and started screaming for help.

Some traders at the scene who were not sure who the plainclothes men were tried to intervene but the operatives warned the onlookers not to intervene and started bringing out their guns.

Four of them brought out their pistols while some others brandished their AK-47 automatic rifles. They, however, did not fire any shots until and successfully bundled both girls into the Highlander and drove off, heading towards FCT metropolis.
An eyewitness said when he saw both girls standing under the bridge for a long period of time, he had a feeling that they could be terrorists hence was not surprised when the operatives came and picked them up.
When the FCT command spokesman, ASP Anjuguri Manzah, was contacted by reporters, he said he didn't know of the arrest.
